Seafarer Services

Professional crew documentation support, endorsement review and seafarer service coordination for Anguilla flagged vessels.

Seafarer Services

Professional support for officers, ratings and maritime employers

AMASR provides seafarer-related services for vessels entitled to fly the flag of Anguilla. The service is designed to help shipowners, managers, manning agents and seafarers submit clear applications, complete supporting documents and maintain orderly crew certification records.

All applications are reviewed against the applicable requirements, the vessel’s operating profile and the capacity in which the seafarer will serve on board. Additional information may be requested where documentation is incomplete, unclear or requires confirmation by the issuing authority.

Certificate endorsement and crew documentation review

The Administration may review applications connected with certificates of competency, certificates of proficiency and other seafarer documents where required for service on Anguilla flagged vessels. Each submission should be complete, legible and supported by valid identification, medical fitness evidence and training records appropriate to the rank or duty.

Maritime labour and manning support

AMASR supports responsible crewing practices by providing guidance on documentation normally required for seafarers serving on Anguilla flagged vessels. Shipowners and managers remain responsible for ensuring that seafarers are properly qualified, medically fit, familiarised with their duties and employed under appropriate contractual arrangements.

Where applicable, requests may include crew list review, employment documentation, manning information, repatriation and welfare-related supporting records, or other documents required by the Administration for the vessel’s service category.

Typical supporting documents

  • Clear copy of passport or seafarer identification document.
  • Certificate of Competency, Certificate of Proficiency or other qualification relevant to the position on board.
  • Valid medical fitness certificate issued by an authorised medical practitioner.
  • STCW training certificates suitable for the vessel type, trading area and assigned duties.
  • Recent sea service record, company appointment letter or confirmation of rank where applicable.
  • Any additional document requested by AMASR for the specific vessel, rank or service category.

Verification portal

AMASR provides access to the official Verification portal for checking available registry and certificate information. Suspected misuse, alteration or fraudulent presentation of a document should be reported to the Administration immediately.
